According to the situation explanation made by the department concerned of Jiangxi, the number of price and goods inquiries, purchasing intentions and amount of actual sales volume has markedly increased recently and the stock volume of Gannan navel orange has reduced from 160,600 tons on Feb. 5 to 156,000 tons at present.

All the local competent commercial departments, under the demands of MOFCOM, have taken diversified measures in organizing, coordinating and mobilizing the related associations, large-scale agricultural products circulation enterprises and wholesale markets to purchase and sell Gannan navel orange.

Carrefour, Beijing Dayanglu Agricultural Products Wholesale Market, Shandong Shouguang Vegetable Market Co., Ltd. and other large-scale circulation enterprises and agricultural products wholesale markets have also responded actively and participated one after another in the purchasing of Jianxi navel orange, and there is a special counter established for Jiangxi navel orange in each of the chain stores of Wal-mart.
