On April 1, Shandong Zhonghua Power Company held the tenth anniversary ceremony. This company is jointly founded by Shandong International Trust Ltd., China Guodian Corp., HK China Power Investment Corp. and EDF on May 20, 1997, with total investment of USD2.29b and registered capital of USD280m. It’s currently the largest foreign-invested company in Shandong.

In ten years, this company established and operated 3,000,000kw power plant, generating 90 billion kwh electricity and paying 10.66 billion various taxes. The company also took the lead to kick off desulphurization engineering in Shandong with 87,200 tons of sulfur dioxide being reduced annually.
